The most recent two weeks of available forecast cycles are available for download through the NCAR TIGGE web portal. Downloads are available for complete forecast files, which are organized by initialization date/time, level type, and forecast hour for each center. Complete forecast files contain all available level specific parameters and all ensemble members. Users also have the option of selecting parameters, grid resolution, and spatial subsets across multiple centers for download. All data are encoded in WMO GRIB-2 format. A document describing model configurations and available parameters for each center can be found in tiggedocumentation.pdf. The complete TIGGE archive can be accessed through the CISL Research Data Archive.

Subset Request Selection    Browse data and select parameters, grid resolution and spatial subsets for download.

Available Subset Requests    View the status of all subset requests and download completed requests.

Forecast File Request Selection    Browse data and select available forecast files for download.

Direct Internet Download    Download staged forecast files. Users must obtain a DSS user account to access this option.

Historical TIGGE Archive    Contains complete TIGGE archive stored on the NCAR MSS.

TIGGE Tropical Cyclone Track Data    Users must obtain a DSS user account to access this data.
